Creative Couture Fashion Show

We are thrilled to announce that our gallery will be hosting it’s second fashion show, “Creative Couture” and we would love for you to be a part of it! This event aims to showcase the creativity and talent of our wonderful community, and we are reaching out to you to join us in this exciting venture.

Our first fashion show was a huge success and you asked us to do another one, so here is your opportunity to showcase your flare for fashion and unique style!

We are looking for individuals who are interested in showcasing their work, whether it’s fashion designs, any wearable art, or even a fabulous piece of clothing that has been in the closet waiting for it’s moment to shine!

Date: Saturday, February 15, 2025

Time: 3-5 PM (Participants arrive at 1 PM for setup)

About the Show

Creative Couture celebrates the empowering art of fashion, showcasing unique, handmade, or vintage garments. This event highlights the creativity and confidence that come with dressing up and expressing individuality.

Creative Couture builds on the incredible success of our first fashion show, which brought together a community of bold creativity and self-expression. This event will also mark my final day at Front Porch Gallery, and I hope to celebrate my time here with all of you in a stylish and heartfelt send-off. While this is my swan song, I hope the tradition of these empowering fashion shows will continue to inspire and connect us. Let’s make this event a truly memorable celebration of creativity, confidence, and community!

Fashion Show Submission Guidelines:

• Deadline: All works must be submitted by February 1, 2025 11:59 PM

Format: Please submit up to 3 high-resolution images of your artwork, 300 dpi under 5mg, and an artist statement, which will be used to introduce you and describe your pieces as you walk the runway. Upon submitting select Creative Couture Fashion for Category, and enter 0 for Dimensions area and Sale Price.

• You must provide your own models for each look.

• All Styles are welcome.

• No sales area, but a $5 suggested donation includes five raffle tickets.

• Raffle donations welcomed (email for details).

• Volunteers needed for setup and breakdown.

Special Programming

During January and February we will have special programming in honor of the Creative Couture Fashion Show. We will be hosting free creative engagement programming about: Macrame, creating MOHAI dolls, and creating paper dolls with multi media paper craft.
